Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Mahavidya Peetha, sponsored by Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Peetha, Suttur, is committed to this idea ever since it came to be established by Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji in 1954.

Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mutt has become a pioneer is sponsoring educational institutions under JSS Mahavidyapeetha which has more than 320 institutions under its umbrella. JSS School of Nursing, Sakaleshpur is one among them.

In addition to these, JSS Mahavidyapeetha is actively involved in the health service to the poor and needy by disseminating care through health centers and hospitals, which is under agies of the JSS Medical Service Trust, Mysore.

JSS School of Nursing was started in the year 2004 and is attached to Crawford Hospital, which has 150 beds with all the departments and equipments. The students are admitted from all parts of the Karnataka / Other States.

• Course offered : Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery
• Duration : 3 ½ years

Eligibility:

1. The candidate should have passed Pre-University Examination (PUC of 2 years) or equivalent examination with 45% aggregate marks with any combination of subjects. Preference will be given to science and meritorious candidates.
2. Age: The Candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.
